1. Scope
The Service is offered internationally, with the exceptions set out below. This page applies together with the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy. By registering for or using the Service, you confirm that you are not located in, and will not access the Service from, any of the excluded regions listed below.
2. Excluded Regions
The Service is not available, and you may not use it, in:
- Mainland China (the Service does not provide access to users in mainland China);
- any country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions or embargoes (e.g., as designated by applicable U.S., EU, UN, or other sanctions programs);
- any jurisdiction where access to the underlying models or the Service would violate applicable law or the geographic restrictions of our upstream providers (e.g., countries not supported by OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google).
This list follows the current state of applicable law and upstream provider policy and may change without prior notice.
3. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your access to and use of the Service comply with the laws of your own jurisdiction. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are not located in any region listed in Section 2, and that you are not using the Service on behalf of any person or entity located in such a region.
4. Geo-Based Controls and Anti-Circumvention
We may use geolocation-based technical controls (such as IP-based location checks) to enforce this policy.
Using technical means — including but not limited to VPNs, proxies, or spoofed IP or location data — to disguise or conceal your true location in order to access the Service from an excluded region constitutes a material breach of this policy and of the Terms of Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that access the Service from excluded regions or that circumvent these controls. For accounts terminated for sanctions circumvention, the treatment of any remaining balance is governed by the Refund Policy.
5. Model Availability
Availability of specific models may further vary by region and by upstream provider policy, and may change without notice. The unavailability of a particular model in your region does not constitute a breach of the Service's obligations.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this page from time to time (for example, when sanctions designations or upstream provider policies change). The updated version takes effect when posted on this page.
